It’s on the darkest nights in December we cherish the shine of a bright star the most. Which is why this month we’re stoked to celebrate one of our own local shining stars, the brilliant & beautiful Luella, AKA Lulu @luellapace! Homegrown in Ventura, she’s one of our youngest Team Surfers, and earned a spot on Team Betty when she was a grom. But she’s all grown up now! So it’s time to get the latest with Lulu, here’s what she shared…
“[Lately] I’ve really been enjoying time at the beach, whether it’s surfing, or just hanging out with my friends watching the sunset! I have been starting to travel a lot for surf competitions, which has been really exciting… I am looking forward to travel to Australia and Mexico in the New Year! I really love competing because I get to see all of my friends that live far away so it always brings us together– but I am also really excited for a little break to work on my surfing and focus on my friends and family that I love!”
“Betty Belts has been a huge part of my life for a long time now! My mom has shopped at Betty since before I was even born, and I think I joined Team Betty when I was 10 or 11… I can’t wait to share my journey with you guys, and I am so so grateful for Betty Belts!”
