Happy Earth Week Betty B Family! Every Spring we’re urged to “Go Green”. But when we really think about it, there’d be no “Going Green” if it weren’t for our “Beginning Blue”.

Our precious ocean, and all life giving water– is severely threatened. To truly honor our whole Earth, we must not only cherish the land we live upon, but re-sanctify the very element that allows the Earth (and us) to exist; Water.

As an homage to the Water, we are donating 20% of all Betty B sales (both in-store & online) to the for-purpose organization LivBlue over the weekend and on Earth Day itself. As a dedicated member of 1% for the Planet, Betty B is also part of the LivBlue Angel tribe that supports the imperative, on-going research of passionate scientist, wild water advocate, and blue movement-maker Dr. Wallace “J.” Nichols.

He is the author of Blue Mind; a ground-breaking book which “connects the dots: neuroscience and psychology, nature and conservation, art and science, poetry and practice in profoundly important new ways. The result is an emerging, exciting, fast-growing new field we call Neuroconservation.”

As inspiring marine-biologist, and role-model mermaid Sylvia Earle reminds us,
